Perackis.architects is an architectural office from Berlin run by Sarah and Alexander Perackis. Architectural quality and versatility in detail are the cornerstones of their work.
The office's aim is to create buildings that blend respectfully into their surroundings and at the same time boldly develop the existing structures. A vision that has also significantly shaped UNIKAT's art-living concept. Timeless design combined with a flexible, sustainable living concept enable cosmopolitan living at a high level.
With UNIKAT, it was important to Perackis.Architekten to make the historically evolved location visible in all its complexity and, at the same time, to create an appropriate living space that meets today's demands for inner-city living comfort.
UNIKAT succeeds in bringing the historic residential building to life and touching it with many unique details. The result is a high degree of identification with the building and the city of Berlin. The bathroom and utility cubes, cleverly integrated into the existing structure as room-dividing furniture, give the rooms a high degree of comfort.
